My name is Kimberly Rawls, and I have been an educator since 2007.  Prior to being hired as CTE Director, I served as a Student Services Coordinator (SSC) for 13 years at MCCTC.  With both private sector and K-12 experience, I understand the importance of helping all students become college and career ready.  I received a B.S. in Elementary Education and a M.S. in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern Mississippi.  I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Instructional Systems and Workforce Development at Mississippi State University.  I have served as a mentor teacher for new CTE program instructors at MCCTC and as a SSC trainer for the Mississippi Department of Education.  From 2011-2017, I served as a literacy mentor for the Mississippi Department of Education's ASK-CTE project, focusing on the incorporation of literacy strategies into CTE instruction.  My passion for student success inspires my commitment to scholastic excellence and lifelong learning.  I am a native of the Hub Community in Marion County. I am married to Jason Rawls, and we are the proud parents of three amazing children.

Rosalind Echols

Receptionist/Bookkeeper  

My name is Rosalind Echols, and I am currently serving as the Receptionist/Bookkeeper at Marion County Career and Technology Center. With over 15 years of experience in the education system, I have held a variety of key roles, including Data Processor and Interventionist for the Reading First program with the Mississippi Department of Education, Computer Lab Manager, and Administrative Assistant for both the Maintenance and Transportation Departments.

I have successfully managed the 16th Section Land Ledger for more than a decade, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and financial acumen. My broad experience highlights my ability to multitask, adapt to changing demands, and manage complex administrative and financial operations. I am also proficient in Marathon Web and Active Resources, which enhances my efficiency and accuracy in handling bookkeeping responsibilities.

In addition to my current role, I am continuing to excel in areas such as data management, curriculum coordination, grant writing, and maintaining precise administrative records. I earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Beyond my technical skills, I am widely recognized for my strong work ethic, effective communication skills, and my ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, administrators, and community stakeholders. I consistently uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and service in all aspects of my work.



Melissa Taylor

My name is Melissa Taylor. I am excited to join the MCLCTC team as the CTE Counselor. I earned a Master’s degree in School Counseling from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Psychometry endorsement from William Carey University. With 5 years of experience in school counseling, it is my goal to foster academic success and emotional well-being in all students. I enjoy spending time with my family, all things sports, and traveling.

My name is Amy Baughman and I joined the Marion County School District in 2006. I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Technology Education and received a Masters in Educational Leadership from Mississippi State University. I have been a National Board Certified Teacher in Early Adolescence through Young Adulthood/Career and Technical Education since 2011. My other certifications include C.O.O.L. and IC3. Currently, I am serving as the Student Services Coordinator. Prior to this position, I taught the Teacher Academy, Information Technology, and Business Computer Technology programs at the center. I reside in Foxworth, MS with my husband and two children. In my free time, I enjoy reading and spending time with family and friends.

I have 22 years of educational experience.  Currently, I am the Educator Preparation instructor at Marion County Carl Loftin Career & Technology Center. I am so excited about this school year!

My name is Jacob Griffith. I graduated from Jones County Junior College with an associate’s degree in Welding and Cutting Technology. I have experience working in production as a maintenance technician, welder, and welding inspector. Prior to beginning work at Marion County Career and Technology Center, I taught Welding and Cutting Technology at Meridian Community College in Meridian, Mississippi. I currently hold certifications through the American Welding Society and NCCER. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, farming and hunting.

Glenn Allen

Law and Public Safety Instructor

My name is Glenn Allen. I am a native of Tylertown, MS and a seasoned professional in law enforcement. I am a graduate of Tylertown High School, and I attended Southwest Mississippi Community College. My extensive knowledge and experience in law enforcement is a testament to my dedication and expertise. I have served in various roles, including as a Reserve Patrolman for the Town of Tylertown. I completed the Harrison County Law Enforcement Academy on the USM Campus in Long Beach, MS. My career in law enforcement has been marked by progression and leadership. I have served in various roles, from a Deputy, Investigator, Chief Investigator, Certified Deputy and Chief Deputy of the Walthall County Sheriff's Department, demonstrating my experience and commitment to the field. I am married to Sandra Ellzey Allen, and we have four children and ten grandchildren. I am a strong believer in Christ, and I believe in Proverbs 22:6 - "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”  I am deeply committed to this principle, seeing it as a call to action for all of us to invest in the future by training and molding the next generation.

My name is Debbie Brumfield. I am the Career Pathway Experience instructor at Marion County Carl Loftin Career and Technology Center and a co-advisor of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS). I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Technology and obtained a Masters in Educational Leadership from Mississippi State University. In 2012, I achieved National Board status as a National Board Certified Teacher in Early Adolescence through Young Adulthood/Career and Technical Education. My other certifications include: C.O.O.L. and IC3. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, and traveling.

My name is Grace Ali Spradley. I graduated from Louisiana State University in 2013 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training and a minor in Health Sciences. I have
served as the Athletic Trainer to schools on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and in Central Florida. I am originally from Hattiesburg but have lived in several states over the years. I am now back home in Hattiesburg with my husband of 5 years. We have a 9 month old son and a big Black Lab. This will be my first year teaching Sports Medicine in Marion County School District. I am excited about the opportunity to get to know the students and use my passion for Sports Medicine to inspire them.

I am Shaboria Sartin, and I am the Early Childhood Education Instructor and an advisor for Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America at the Marion County Career and Technology Center.  In 2017, I graduated from Jackson State University with a Bachelor of Science in Childcare and Family Studies.  I have previous experience in various preschool settings.  I have ten wonderful years of practical classroom experience, and I’m extremely passionate about teaching students the importance of early childhood education. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children.

I am a dedicated automotive professional with over five years of hands-on experience in the automotive industry. I bring a lifelong passion for automotive technology to my role, having grown up around cars and developed a deep appreciation for the trade at an early age.

I am a proud alumnus of the Marion County Carl Loftin Career & Technical Center and Pearl River Community College, where I honed his technical skills and deepened his knowledge of automotive systems. My practical experience, combined with formal training, positions me to connect with students in a meaningful and effective way.

Now serving as the new Automotive Technology Instructor at Marion County Career and Technology Center, I am excited to give back to the Marion County community. My goal is to inspire the next generation of automotive technicians with the same enthusiasm and hands-on expertise that shaped my own journey.

Anna Woodrow

My name is Anna Woodrow. I am a 2009 graduate of Columbia High School and obtained my Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern Mississippi in  2013. I have taught mathematics, science, Cyber Foundations, and currently am the Engineering instructor. I am a National Board Certified Teacher and am C.O.O.L. certified. I am married to a football and baseball coach and we share a goldendoodle, Hunt. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, attending sporting events, swimming and reading.

Rashan Foxworth

My name is Rashan Foxworth. I am a dedicated professional, educator, and lifelong learner with a wealth of experience
in construction, electronics, and military service. I was born in Buffalo, NY, in 1973, and I moved to Columbia, MS, in 1989, where I have since built a career centered around hard work, education, and service to others.

A 1993 graduate of East Marion High School, I enlisted in the Mississippi Army National Guard immediately after graduation, serving for eight years as a 51 Bravo Masonry and Carpentry Specialist. As a disabled veteran, I transitioned into civilian life and pursued higher education, earning an associate degree in Commercial Industrial Electrical Technology from Pearl River Community College in 1995.

Over the years, I have held a variety of positions in trucking, oil field construction, and electronics. My technical expertise led me to work as an electronic technician and later as an electronic technician supervisor for BJ Services and Baker Hughes Incorporated. My career took me across the country
and abroad, working in construction and industrial settings for various companies.

Committed to lifelong learning, I returned to school in 2019, earning three additional associate's degrees in biomedical I Equipment Repair, and Industrial Electronics. My dedication to education and the skilled trades led him to an opportunity at Pearl River Community College, where I became the
Commercial and Residential Construction Instructor. During my tenure, I pursued and completed my fifth associate degree in Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration.

Beyond my professional achievements, I am a devoted husband and father of five, three sons and two daughters. A man of strong faith, I believe in helping others, uplifting and motivating those around me to reach their full potential. My passion for working with my hands and my love for the
construction industry fuel my mission to educate and inspire future generations.

I live by the principles of integrity, perseverance, and service, always striving to do what is right-no matter the cost.

My name is Katie Albritton. I am the Health Sciences 1 instructor at Carl Loftin Career and Technical Center in Marion County, Mississippi. I am a 2004 graduate of Stone High School in Wiggins, Mississippi. I received my Associates degree at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in May 2006 and my Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi  in 2009. I am passionate about healthcare and I enjoy instructing students in this area.  I am married and have four children. We live in Sandy Hook, Mississippi. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends.

My name is Willie Smith. I am a JSU graduate and a member of PHI BETA SIGMA fraternity. I have a degree in Criminal Justice, and I have worked in the restaurant business for over 34 years in the following capacities: Ruby Tuesday (Server, Bartender, Manager, and General Manager) along with Manager, General Manager, and Area Director for Corner Bakery Café for eighteen years.  I have worked for Marion County School District for over three years as  a Custodian and a Cafeteria Manager. I have received multiple awards for having an eye for details in operations and quality food. I am married to Rose Smith, and we have three children. We previously resided in Georgia for twenty seven years, and we are current members Christian Union M.B. church. In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, reading, working out, and spending time with my dog.

I am IC3 and C.O.O.L. certified.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
